Iron Pigs Week

September 6, 2011

Last weekend Tim and I had tickets to see the Iron Pigs, the triple-A affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies, but Hurricane Irene had other plans.  The game ended up getting pushed back a day and the Iron Pigs played two 7-inning games on Monday night.  Tim and I bought general admission tickets and we’ll trade our other tickets in for a game early next season.

It was a gorgeous night for a ball game!  And for a veggie gyro…

Followed by ice cream and waffles!  Looks like I used the flash to take this picture but that was just the lights over the lawn where we were sitting!

Saturday night I apparently was going to another Iron Pigs game with my family!  I had forgotten so that was a nice surprise.  It was the Pigs’ last home game of the season and they delivered a win!

Hey Love Eat Run, recognize that guy?

After the game there were fireworks and we tried out the 3D glasses for the first time!  Fireworks without:

Fireworks with 3D glasses:

Woah, crazy!  I’m glad we made it out just in time before the season ended.  Now bring on hoodie weather!
